Policies for Student Services

WorthWild delivers Outdoor Leadership training in partnership with Asset Training Australia (the Registered Training Organisation).

Enrolling in the course

After discussion as to your preferred enrolment options, you may enrol in the course by completing the Asset Training Personal Particulars Form and the Enrolment form, the WorthWild activity Indemnity Release and providing a copy of photo ID.

If you do not already have one, you will be required to apply for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) which is available on line at www.usi.gov.au


Paying your course fees

Fees are due prior to commencement of training. Ordinarily you may pay on a module by module basis.


Protection of Student Funds

Fees paid in advance by way of a deposit prior to training commencement are protected. Students may cancel an enrolment up to five (5) business days prior to the scheduled commencement date of the course and receive a full refund.


Refund Policy

Cancellation of enrolment less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled commencement date of the course will incur a $200 cancellation fee. All fees paid in advance minus this cancellation fee will be refunded up to the commencement date of the course, at which time there are no refunds issued. Students will receive a $200 credit towards another course with WorthWild if the booking is made within 10 business days of cancellation.

WorthWild does not offer refunds on or after commencement of the course. Students who fail to attend or fail to complete training and assessment will not be entitled to any refund or credit.

Refund or Credit requests with exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Managing Director.

Course fees will be fully refunded in the unlikely event that WorthWild cancels or discontinues a course.


Payment Plans

Course fees paid by payment plan are deemed as being due in full on the date of commencement of training.

When you enter into a payment plan, you acknowledge and agree that the amount of fees stated were due in full at commencement of the course; therefore in signing a payment plan, you agree that these fees must be paid, in full, even if you withdraw from training.


Complaint/Grievance Policy

You have the right to make formal complaint to the management of WorthWild for any matter related to your training. WorthWild is a Quality assured company and as such we strive to constantly improve our services. Your input will be treated as an opportunity for improvement.

In the event of a student having a complaint/grievance the following procedure will be followed:

Stage 1                   The student should approach the instructor and give details of the grievance. The instructor will endeavour to satisfy the requirements of the student. Any such matter will be recorded by the instructor and brought to the attention of WorthWild management.

Stage 2                   Should the grievance not be resolved, the student should approach the Course Director and give details of the grievance. The Course Director will, within one working day, respond to the grievance and endeavour to satisfy the requirements of the student.

Stage 3                   Should the grievance not be resolved, the Course Director shall, within one week, call a meeting of all parties involved to discuss the matter. The aim of the meeting will be to clarify all issues and reach a consensus on a satisfactory resolution of the problems as perceived by all parties. An agreed timetable will be drawn up to define time scales of actions required. Minutes will be taken and copies distributed to all present. The student may request an independent party to be present at the meeting from the ‘Industry Training Advisory Board’ or from the RTO.

Stage 4                   Should the grievance not be resolved within one week of the meeting referred to in stage 3, WorthWild will advise you of the appropriate government body to contact for further assistance.


Statement of Compliance:

“We, the Principles of “WorthWild”, hereby give our undertaking to comply with this Code of Practice in its entirety under which students of this facility are trained”.
